Northeast Ohio Vocal Arts Academy - Professional Training for Singer-Actors
VOCAL MUSIC STUDIES
At NOVA Academy, classical vocal studies are based on a 13-week quarter system. Private Lessons are set up on an appointment basis and are priced according to age and experience levels. Lessons are personalized for each student to develop specific skills of technique and musicianship, inspire creative expression and encourage a love of music. Students in our Individual Instruction program are given opportunities to perform, from informal performance studios to artist master classes and recitals.

Length of instruction is based on age and technique levels; 30, 45, and 60-minute lessons are offered.  Depending on the results of a short interview, beginning music studies may be helpful prior to studying private voice. It is highly recommended that students with no previous musical training enroll in a music fundamentals class before starting vocal lessons.

PRIVATE VOICE LESSONS
Private voice lessons are scheduled by appointment.  Because the ability to read music and efficient use of keyboard are directly related to vocal progress, a placement test may be required to assess the needs of the student. Those with inadequate vocal experience and/or understanding of music theory may be recommended to a music fundamentals class.
